Our story

Over 15 years ago, Anthony started his career in Workers’ Compensation as a Case Manager. He would answer calls daily from frustrated employers wanting to know how to take care of their employees while worrying about the same question: “Will I be treated fairly?”

Over the years he learned principles and strategies to answer “YES!” Which is why he created Workers Comp Simplified. To teach you these strategies through online courses and guided mentorship programs. So how did we get here?

In 2011, Anthony left his job as a Case Manager and opened up WCBconsulting.ca. A firm that would manage and appeal WCB claims on behalf of employers and safety professionals. Since then, we’ve saved companies over $12 million in Workers’ Compensation premiums and rebates, and hundreds of millions more in successful bids for maintaining good WCB standing.

In 2018, Anthony went on to become an assistant Defensive Coach with Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League (CFL). Working with professional athletes and seeing first-hand how professional sports teams operate brought insight unlike any he had seen before. During this time, he continued to get inquiries on WCB / WSIB / Worksafe claims and appeals. It’s here where he realised that WCB coaching for safety, human resources, and business professionals, was no different than coaching a professional athlete.

In 2019, he began working on a set of online courses unlike anything Canada has ever seen. Having already trained and coached hundreds of professionals it was an easy transition. These courses were designed with the employer in mind. Focusing on over a decades worth of knowledge, Anthony compiled a streamlined approach to managing WCB claims that controlled claim costs and reduced premiums. This later developed into corporate training for businesses and a mentorship program where a trained WCB expert would mentor a professional in WCB.

Today, WCBconsulting.ca has evolved into Workers Comp Simplified. The most sought after WCB training and coaching in Canada. Working with companies large and small, with individuals from all industries, we’re slowly transforming the way industry manages and appeals WCB claims. Who would e-learning courses work best for?

Our e-learning courses are designed for business and health & safety professionals that are looking for knowledge that they can retain and apply whenever a WCB claims should arise.

If time is an issue, then having the ability to go in and out of the course at your own will is great for e-learners.

How do I get 1-on-1 coaching?

Coaching is offered on an hourly basis.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve gone through one of our courses or are looking for advice on how to proceed with a claim that you’re working on.

We will mentor you and guide you through the process.

We recommend you take our courses first because this saves time on explaining basic principles where we can focus that time on helping you take the next steps.

What if I currently do not have a WCB Claim or WCB Appeal? Should I take a course?
Absolutely!
